The Hub

THE HUB is the building in the middle of the master plan. It’s where the whole park is controlled and is also the primary social area and commercial area. As visitors arrive they walk through THE HUB to get to the tracks. The building provides the following services to the park:

  • Payment and administration
  • First aid
  • Restaurants and bars
  • Changing facilities
  • Race times and multi race configuration
  • Introduction and tutorial videos
  • Corporate facilities
  • Viewing platforms
  • Associated retail
  • Central start point for all the tracks

Professional Track

The Professional Track is exclusively available for dedicated racing. It is purposed to be used for larger event racing for the Supercross or 4x4 Extreme and is therefore configured in a similar fashion.

Supercross / 4x4 Extreme

Supercross is a cycling racing sport involving racing specialised high performance off-road motorcycles on artificially made dirt tracks consisting of steep jumps and obstacles. Modern Supercross races are sanctioned and governed by motorcycle associations. Supercross racing classifications were governed by the displacement of the motorcycle’s engine until 2006. In the past, Championships have been awarded in 125cc (also known as “MX””), 250cc (“MX1”), and 500cc displacement levels (also known as “MX3”). The 250cc Champion has always been generally considered to be the most prestigious.

The 4x4 extreme challenge uses a mixture of mud and hard surfaces, steep hills, descents and gravity defying traverses. All of which will be experienced with fully qualified instructor.

Supermoto/ Kart Track

Supermoto is a cross-over or evolution of motorcross and road racing. Races are commonly held on road racing or medium sized go-kart tracks with an off-road section. Most supermoto race tracks are typically configured with approximately 70% tarmac and 30% dirt with small jumps but a dirt section is not required. The motorcycles used are frequently custom – created combinations of off-road motorcycles and road racing rims/ tyres. Riders also wear a combination of road race equipment, normally leathers and a motocross helmet and boots. Unlike normal motorcycle racing, the emphasis lies on slower (<100mph / <161 km/h), short and twisty tracks, where rider skill matters far more than outright machine performance.

Kart racing or karting is a variant of open-wheel motor sport with simple, small four-wheeled vehicles called karts, go-karts, or gearbox/shifter karts depending on the design. They are usually raced on scaled- down circuits. Karting is commonly perceived as the stepping stone to the higher and more expensive ranks of motorsports.

Kart racing is usually used as a low-cost and relatively safe way to introduce drivers to motor racing. Many people associate with young drivers but adults are also very active in karting. Karting can prepare the driver for high-speed wheel-to-wheel racing by helping develop quick reflexes, precision car control, and decision making skills. In addition, it brings an awareness of the various parameters that can be altered to try and improve the competitiveness of the kart (examples being tyre pressure, gearing, seat position, chassis stiffness) that also exist in other forms of motor racing.
Constructed to full FIA/ MSA standards.

Driving Skills

The driving skills track in comprised of a large concrete pan, split into two for separate tutorial. Using the skid control car you will be given instruction on hoe to recognise, control or prevent under steer and over steer in front, rear wheel and four wheel drive vehicles. A fun and very educational session that will improve your driving skills greatly.
The track will cover a variety of emergency situations to give you improved confidence and skill on the road.

  • Emergency braking
  • Front and rear end slides
  • Reducing wheel spins
  • Slippery surface driving
  • Skid prevention
  • Correcting skids
  • Tyre blow-out
  • Locked wheels

Practice Track

Serving the professional and the Supermoto / 4x4 Extreme, the track is of a lower complexity and can be used as a warm up, or overspill during busy periods.

Family/ Corporate Track

The Family/ Corporate track offers a low skills requirement for the public. Used for group bookings and event days, it will cater for a high volume, Arrive & Drive, Karting experience. The balance of skills required offers an alternative to the hard surface Kart/ Supermoto track and the Grass karting zone, using a soft edge to turning and minimising long speed runs.
